All our beef is hung for around 21 days and from native British cattle. All the beef we sell is from cattle that are allowed to grow naturally on grass at a slow speed, giving them a long life and good chance of marbling. The do come in the barn over winter for their safety. They are still fed a diet mainly made up of grass, but some will also get some supplementary feed to ensure they stay healthy throughout the winter period and don’t end up malnourished or with stunted growth rates.
